Blogging At Blogcritics
If you're not aware of it, there is a cool website called Blogcritics that basically has over 500 bloggers who contribute to it. The focus is on providing reviews and thoughts on a wide variety of media, as well as other writing on culture and politics. It's a great collaborative project that harnesses the power of blogs and of low-scale, individual expression.
Basically, any blogger can apply and I suspect they accept most, if not all, people who meet the basic acquirements. I applied last night and was quickly accepted, so I will now be an occasional contributor to Blogcritics. Everything I post there will almost surely be posted here, as well. There may be some slight differences since the audiences are different, but it will largely be the same writing
My first contribution to Blogcritics is a review of Jeanette Winterson's novel Written on the Body. I posted essentially the same review here on this blog last week.
Anyway, I just thought I would mention that I'll be posting over at Blogcritics, as well. Check the site out if you've never been there. There's plenty of interesting content and good discussions going on, from a variety of different perspectives. You'll probably find something interesting.
